Accessibility

An accessible gate is only the beginning.

Cobblestones, slopes, and uneven paths can make getting around difficult. The Amandiers and Réunion gates have steps and are not accessible for people with reduced mobility.

Discuss access requirements with the cemetery administration before you arrive. For a guided tour, also check the full route with the activity provider.

Can you enter by car?

Vehicle access is restricted to funeral processions and vehicles carrying someone who meets the admission criteria: age 75 or older, an accepted disability or mobility inclusion card, or the medical certificate required by the City. The relevant supporting documents must be presented.

Vehicles enter through the main gate or Gambetta gate. Private vehicles are not admitted on November 1. Check any special arrangements before traveling.

Confirm eligibility and the documents required with the cemetery administration before relying on vehicle access. Inside the cemetery, the speed limit is 20 km/h, funeral processions have priority, and parking on sidewalks is prohibited.
